This year’s edition of the MS Bike was another great success! The weather cooperated and Team Bike4Mike all made it to the finish line both days safely. Thank you to everyone who donated to my total of $5,080, which brings my personal total over the last 5 years to $18,830.
Team Bike4Mike raised $54,319 which is a new record! Nearly 1500 cyclists rode from Grand Bend to London and back, and raised a total of $1.4 million in support of those living with MS and the research working towards a brighter future for those people.
I had the pleasure of riding with my wife and father-in-law this year. Both were intimidated to attempt the ride, but were all smiles at the finish line.
We even took the opportunity to photo bomb Kurt Harnett, track cyclist and 3 time Olympic medalist. Thanks for standing still while I took this picture Kurt!
Thanks again to everyone who supported my fundraising. I look forward to sharing my journey again with you next year as I have committed to my team Captain to ride in my 6th MS Bike in 2018.
